Is Subconsciousness Discreet Or Continuous?
When contemplated over a longer period of time, the painting shall offer a definitive answer to the question whether unconsciousness is indeed discreet or continuous.
The artwork is comprised of several rows of painted wood stripes grouped into four columns. That would be the ‘discreet’ aspect.
Each vertical plank is coated with a translucent “continuous” sheen.
The panels ought to be constantly interchanged when publicly displayed in a gallery. Or privately at home.
But not excessively. Maybe once every few days.
